Following the popular, sell-out event of 2017; the Technology in the Tropics Conference returns for 2018! Labelled STEAM in FNQ.
QSITE (Far North Queensland Chapter), once again promises a not to be missed professional development opportunity for FNQ educators. This pupil free day program will provide vital information on current STEAM focused activities in schools and provide stimulating workshops presented by a talented range of speakers. The new Digital Syllabus will again be highlighted. New technologies and methodologies displayed.

Presentations and Workshops
Presentations and workshops from local and national presenters will cover a range of relevant topics including STEAM focused activities:

  • Digital Technologies Curriculum
  • Robotics
  • Coding
  • Drones
  • Makerspace
  • Entrepreneurship

The Conference in Brief:

WHEN: Monday 22nd October, 2018 (Pupil Free Day Monday of Week 3 in Term 4)

WHERE:  The Cairns Colonial Club, Manunda.

* QSITE Members:  $120 (Max. of 3 delegates per Institutional membership @ member rates)
* Non-QSITE Members: $150
(The website does not collect money. Schools will be invoiced at a later date.)

REGISTRATION’S CLOSE:  5:00pm on Wednesday, 17th October, or earlier if fully subscribed.
