We are creating the next generation of startups and creating jobs of the future by embedding entrepreneurial capacity and capability in regional communities through school students, teacher, and industry Ambassadors. Our program will deliver 7 one day entrepreneurship workshops to local champions who will identify a problem in the local community to solve, design a solution to the problem, build a prototype of an App and present a pitch of their idea to industry representatives.

Practical information about entrepreneurship will be delivered: including how to develop an idea and startup company, and how using business, social and technical problem-solving skills to build an App.

Fifteen local female students and fifteen teachers (female & male) are invited to register as an Ambassador to attend each workshop to become ongoing local Ambassadors for our program, skilling up others in their newly gained entrepreneurial knowledge.

STEM industry professionals will be invited to attend the Ambassadors pitches to network and build local collaborations between companies and schools. This kind of professional development activity benefits not only participants, but the wider community long after the workshop has run. We will host the events at universities where possible.
