Confirmed speakers are:
Dr Renae Tobin – Renae has completed multiple stakeholder driven research projects including documenting impacts of marine park and fisheries management change on fishers, exploring the potential for regional co-management, developing social and economic indicators and monitoring, investigating fishers’ ability to adapt to change, and exploring perceptions of the public and different fishing sectors towards commercial fishing and local seafood.
Heather Robson – Heather’s research is in an exciting new field of genetics which uses environmental DNA (eDNA) and metabarcoding to monitor tropical freshwater biodiversity.
