The TAFE Coomera campus will host a STEM event July 18.

Space 2.0 will provide high school, tertiary students and educators with the opportunity to ask questions and learn from industry experts from space technologies and game development. It will comprise of 4 separate elements, including:

Guest speakers include;

  • Director of Gilmour Space Technologies – James Gilmour
  • Andria Boyd – International Space Station Flight Controller for the European Space Agency

Be part of the live audience for the panel discussion with Aerospace Engineer Jay Craig, Aerodynamicist Kristin Stewart, Mechanical Engineer Nicholas McLean and Mechanical Design/ Analysis Engineer Jacob Sheehy.

Ask questions of the panel relating to their studies and career, such as

  • What skills are needed
  • Training and pathway information
  • Career opportunities

Only 170 seats available.

The panel discussion will also be filmed and broadcast to remote and regional schools, TAFEs and communities. URL access will be available through a separate Eventbrite event – Space 2.0 Q&A Broadcast.
