The Senior Living Innovation Challenge was launched in late 2017 with the aim of uncovering innovative products and services that challenge traditional stereotypes of older people and help spark conversation on how we can support Australian seniors to live fulfilling, vibrant lives.
We were delighted with the high caliber of entries received demonstrating new thinking in housing, digital and social media, robotics and support services. After much deliberation, judges narrowed down the field to just six finalists.
Meet the Senior Living Innovation Challenge finalists (from left to right):

You’re invited to the Senior Living Innovation Pitch event
The Senior Living Innovation Challenge pitch event and award presentation will showcase the six finalists of the competition and announce the winner (or winners) of up to $20,000 in prize money. Join us to hear the finalists pitch their innovation in a 10 minute presentation, which includes audience questions. The event will take place in the prestigious Owen J Wordsworth (OJW) room at QUT and there will be opportunity for networking over drinks and canapes with fellow innovators from academia, private industry and government.
