Join Queensland Museum and BHP as they host a FREE Community Day in Mackay to celebrate the start of National Science Week.
Interactive demonstrations, workshops, expert talks and an exhibition of incredible fossil discoveries including supersized creatures that once roamed this very region will be awaiting inquisitive minds.
Chat with museum palaeontologists and researchers about their latest fossil discoveries from BMC South Walker Creek – a hot spot of fossilised discovery that has seen colossal crocodiles, oversized wombats and the world’s largest kangaroo.
Great for all ages and entry is FREE.
