Trailblazing thinkers share their personal stories, life challenges and career highlights in this special program, which gives high school students rare and intimate access to some of the world’s most renowned scientists. In 2020, meet Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith – award winning astrophysicist, author, presenter of ABC’s Stargazing Live, member of the Australian Space Agency advisory group and recently appointed as the Federal Government’s inaugural Women in STEM Ambassador. Professor Harvey-Smith is fascinated by all things cosmic and has spent her research career studying the radio waves coming from the edge of our galaxy to the dawn of time.

Submit your questions
There is a special opportunity for students to submit questions online prior to the event.  Some of these questions will then be chosen for the student to ask in person during the show. To submit questions please fill out the online form before 6 February 2020.

Submissions are open now. We will contact you via email if your question is chosen for the event on 26 March.

This event is recommended for students in Years 7-12.
