This National Science Week, join Dr Brad Tucker and his team for an evening learning about the latest research, technological advances and Australia’s contribution to space exploration. After the speech, venture outside to look up to the skies and enjoy the spectacle of cosmic objects up close through a telescope.
Trinity Bay State High School are proud to present “Glancing with the Stars: An evening of sky watching, astronomy and physics.” Come and join us for a Public Science Lecture presented by Dr Brad Tucker and his team (Australian National University), a question and answer session, and a star gazing evening. It is an opportunity to delve into the world of astronomy, appreciate the advances that are being made in space and space exploration industries, and provide a gathering place for anyone with an interest in space. Come along and have your space questions answered, learn to use telescopes, locate points of interest in the night sky, and celebrate National Science Week. This is an all ages, free public science event.
