Southern Cross Catholic College is a P – 12 institution with four campuses on the Redcliffe peninsula. The science week aims to bring the four campuses into a seamless science experience through the use of an electron microscope; long break activities including jelly optic fibre, making a light bulb, and poster competition on the 2022 theme – “Glass: More than meets the eye” to facilitate learning. Stimulating the interest of the Primary school students could increase science participation, especially in STEM-related activities including problem-solving and critical thinking.
