Guide to Life (sciences) is an online event hosted by Alan Robertson: scientist and massive nerd.
Over the course of National Science Week, a series of three animated videos will be released on YouTube. These videos cover topics important to science, but ones we don’t discuss as often as we should, like “the importance of being able to admit you’re wrong”, “the trouble with intellectual elitism”, and “chromosomal differences and maybe we should just be good to one another”.
These videos have been heavily inspired by the storytime animation genre, a type of video that is popular with young people, and used by talented creators to make stories about everyday topics, seem engaging, exciting and authentic. We’re using this approach to show another side of science to people who might think that science isn’t for them.
